Questions Regarding Information and Communications Technology

       Last Friday, my teacher in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for Development had our first session with us. She talked about what ICT is, the importance of it and its relevance to Development Communication. And in the end, she gave us an assignment to answer to these following questions and we should e-mail it to her before June 22. Here's my response to those...

1. How ICT impacts your daily life?

        

My answer: The ICT impacts my daily life by shortening my time and effort as it gives easier methods/process of communication and transaction and by giving chance to me to express my opinions properly, since I've found myself that I'm not good when it comes to interpersonal communcation.

2. How would ICT impact your work in the future as a Development Communicator?

Answer: In this question, I would give also the answer of number 1. Aside from that it would impact my work in the future by sharing concepts for development, reporting of the current situation and giving solutions to problems to the greatest number of possible audiences.

3.  How does ICT help advance sustainable development?

Answer: ICT helps advance sustainable development by monitoring the implementations of any specific solutions to a problem as it gives answers to some questions like:

          1. Is the given solution to a problem effective?

          2. What went right or wrong?

          3. How was it going?

          4. Should we try another concept if this method fails?

          5. What will we do next?
