These past days, I've been thinking about a lot of games. I streamed on Youtube, searched on Wikipedia and other sites for some information and reviews about them. But what came into my mind is there are violent, bloody and gory ones which gained fame and/or controversies. It gave me both good and bad reactions. So I decided to share it to you.
Dare to take a look at these games:
1. Mortal Kombat X (Android, iOS, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) - A fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios, in which two characters fight each other using special moves, combos and finishings called Fatalities. It popularizes characters like Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Indeed a very violent game as it really shows how gruesome a duel is.
2. Manhunt 2 (PS2, PSP, PC, Wii) - A stealth-based survival horror game published by Rockstar Games. Here, you will play as Daniel Lamb, an Amnesiac who tries to reveal his own identity. On his journey he must remain undetected as he kills the enemy as gruesome as possible. The game could be one of the kind because of realsitic execution to another person.
3. God of War Series (PS2, PS3, PSP, PS Vita) - An action-adventure game published by Sony Computer Entertainment. This was based on Greek Mythology wherein Kratos, the main character seeks vengeance to Zeus, king of the Olympian gods. It gained praises on reviews as it really dignifies the title itself.
4. Hatred (PC) - An isometric shooting game developed by Destructive Creations. You'll play as the crusader who started a genocide in their place. The objective is just to kill as many people as possible with weapons like machine guns, knives or flamethrowers and perform executions on them.
5. Madworld (Wii) - A beat 'em up game developed by PlatinumGames. The game's protagonist is Jack Ceyman, a man with a built-in chainsaw on his arm. He entered the game "DeathWatch" and unveils the real situation on Varrigan City. It shows that the game is really mad when it comes to violence.
Did these give you nausea? Probably!
